As Mike Gann‘s linked source has the same recording date (13 December 1934), originated from there, I have corrected it here. In fact, there is no first-hand source for the release month, but it can be interpolated quite solidly for this specific record by evaluating the recording dates on the ODP.

My original comment was only about the recording date. The February 1935 release date was already in place here, but I don't know what the source for that was.

Rust's Jazz Records 6th ed. can be consulted, searched & downloaded on archive. So recording dates of many important jazz records can be found easily. But where are 1930s release dates found?

Certainly. Here are two: "Benny Carter: A Life in American Music (Studies in Jazz, No. 1)"
by Morroe Berger, Edward Berger and James Patrick (Scarecrow Press, 1982) and "Jazz and Ragtime Records (1897-1942) - Revised 6th edition" by Brian Rust (Mainspring Press, 2002).

Your belief sounds likely, but could you please provide a source that supports the very specific date you propose?

I believe the recording date should be December 13, 1934. The record may have been released in February 1935. "Dream Lullaby" was the first of several similarly title works that Carter issued during this phase of his career. It was followed by "Melancholy Lullaby", "Lullaby to a Dream" and "Lullaby in Blue", Nice Ben Webster tenor solo.
