Note Camille Howard had her own publishing imprint which pre-dates the advent of Venice Music at Specialty. I'm not sure if it was run by her or was administered by her and husband Roy Milton's. manager Ben Waller. Milton and Howard were Specialty's stars in the early years and I get the impression Waller negotiated publishing deals for his money-making clients that left Art Rupe with mechanical royalties only on their records.

Changed the release date for this record from May 1948 to April 1948, as "X-Temperaneous Boogie" was already on Billboard's Most Played Juke Box Race Records chart for week ending May 14, 1948, and was most probably released some weeks earlier. See also wangdangdula.com which shows this release month (not highly reliable though).

There are label variations for this release, some of which list composers "Albert, Cottrell, Glenn" for You Don't Love Me. Those would be Don Albert, Louis Cottrell Jr. and Lloyd Glenn.
