The last A/B was on Aladdin 3080 indeed, but the first X/Q was on Aladdin 3081, see The Aladdin Records Story again.

Btw, an image of the alternative "Blazer's Boogie" B-side ("Q") of Aladdin 3235, with a rather strange matrix RRR-111, is here. Recorded in Sep 1945, it first appeared on Philo P111, then on Aladdin A111.

Perhaps not so amazing. Aladdin did use A and B sides in the earliest part of the 3000 series. The last A/B I know of is on Aladdin 3080. The first Q/X I have is Aladdin 3082. The forger may thus have had Aladdin labels to use as a model, but none from as far into the series as this disc.

I made the fake A side image disappear. What amazes me is that the forger didn't even know that Aladdin didn't use A and B to mark its sides.

The displayed label image of the A-side here is rather suspect indeed, but there were two variants of the B-side, one has "Cryin' Mercy", as listed above (B-side label, marked "Q" is here), one has "Blazer's Boogie (Three Blazers)", the correct A-side label (marked "X") of that issue is here.

I have a photo, probably from ebay and not very good at that, but it clearly shows a variant Q side of this disc which is nowhere listed in Ruppli's Aladdin/Imperial book. The artist is the same, but the title is Blazer's Boogie with composer credit to the Three Blazers. The matrix starts with the usual RR prefix and looks to end with 111. There is probably one digit and perhaps a hyphen obscured by a contour line in the label.
