 Release date confirmed by Variety and Billboard. "Hey Doc" was a particular Aug.-Sept. 1941 favorite, also covered by Cab Calloway (OKeh 6354), Erskine Hawkins (Bluebird B-11277), and Woody Herman (Decca 3889).
