I don't want to complicate things too much, but don't take the "Advance" part in the Talking Machine World's Record Bulletins too seriously. This record here, for instance, was announced in the March 15, 1921 issue "for April", meaning that it was available in the national catalog for that month. You can guess that it was actually released and sent some weeks before to ensure that goal. This was explicitly confirmed by Victor as of September 1923, when the label started to give exact release days that were generally on Fridays of the month before the catalog date (i.e. "List for September 21" in the "Advance Record Bulletin for October, 1923"). It was practiced like that before though, as shown in my comment on Victor 18255 (a record "for May" 1917, released and advertised in mid-April).

OKeh followed the example of Victor as of December 1926 and published exact release dates of the current month in the TMW bulletins for the next month (e.g. "December 1 release" in the "Advance Record Bulletins for January, 1927"). Thus I assume that OKeh (like Victor) had done that in quite a spell before, see my comment on OKeh 8261, and decided on a March 1921 release month here.

I guess it was the same with Columbia but I can't say that for sure.

If you look up "Talking Machine World" in archive.org (e.g, https://archive.org/stream/talkingmachinewo17bill#page/n3/mode/2up), you'll see a window on the top right of that page that says "Search Inside." You could type a catalog number or Mamie Smith's name, and after a while (a long while) the site will mark all the spots where your search word is mentioned with little orange arrows at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for pointing that out, fixbutte. I have uploaded fresh A and B side labels. There are four other labels I will be upgrading.

Probably many of the release dates entries on my uploads are suspect. Is there a way to search talking machine world. i have found them (up to 1928) on internet archive thanks to xiphophilos mentioning them, but it looks like I can only read through them (by candlelight seemingly). is there a way to pinpoint specific information? What do you do to track down later release dates? I'm eager to learn.

Thanks, GumboStu, for adding this sought-after record and for uploading the A-side label image. If this is your own record, can you please try to make a better photo or scan with the complete, uncut label? An image of the B-side label would be very welcome as well.

Besides, this record was actually recorded in 1920 but in the Date box above we don't want the recording date but the release date (as said in the Add 78 form). You can add all other facts about the record, including the recording data, in the Record Notes, like I have done here now.
