 This 1949 record was the break-through for Harry Stewart (1908-1956). Of Norwegian descent himself, Stewart invented the comic persona of the Swede Yogi Yorgesson for a radio show in the mid 1930s.

Both sides made the Billboard Top Ten in December 1949, and the record sold more than 1,000,000 copies.
