U.S. PAT.OFF.” and “MARCA REGISTRADA" above the manufacturing statement ""Manufactured in U.S.A. by Decca Records, Inc.", cf. https://www.friktech.com/labels/DeccaLabelography.pdf Fixbutte commented at https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/8633&rc=190380#190380 "The "Sepia Series" was introduced in October 1940 with #8500. This series was rivaling Decca's general 7000 "race" series. The Sepia name was dropped at the end of 1942 (the last number with it that I have seen is #8644), and the series was phased out in 1945 with #8673." | |
