I added several listings in Billboard to the Notes, and based on that, I think the record may have come out as early as August 1950. That seems to fit BB's practice; by the time they listed a record as about to come out, it often had already appeared. I've changed the date accordingly from 1949 to Aug. 1950.

What do you think, moderators? Do you think the date should be changed?

You're right and Unca Marvy (who says "12/49") is apparently wrong here. This one came out between National 9111 (4/50) and 9131 (11/50).

National 9100 by (Big) Joe Turner is another one that was released out of numerical order (c. October 1950).

Oddly enough, though the catalog number indicates a December, 1949 release, this was listed in Billboard's "Advance Record Releases" in their August 26, 1950 issue, so the actual issue date was probably September of 1950.
