alan8648 25th Sep 2021		Oh my God I'm dumb. I was asking if this record was released in 1905/1906 and it has a patent date of 1912 on it. On the bright side, my wife had a great laugh when I told her this :-) Thanks xiphophilos!



xiphophilos 23rd Sep 2021		Originally released in 1906 as a Victor "Patti" Record (same catalog number): Alan's copy is a mid-1912-end of 1913 Victrola Patents label with three lines of patent information, ending with patent date May 1, 1912, cf. M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 75.

Scratchy45 23rd Sep 2021		The recording location is not Grag-y-Nos castle, rather Craig-y-Nos Castle in the Swansea Valley, South Wales - now a wedding venue, among other things rather than a diva's home.
