 As Steven Barr writes,
"Many of the records apparently used U.S. labels (or were themselves imported) as the records are marked with both U.S. and Canadian prices, while those pressed in Canada are only identified by a slight alteration in the license statement, which reads "... this record may not be sold in Canada ..."."

Here is a 1914 copy of A1516 that has this Canadian phrase.

During the Gold Band label era (1916-1923) and the subsequent Flag Label era (1923-1925), there seems to have been no difference at all. As long as the Gold Band labels featured price notes, the prices were always listed in US$ and CAN$.

 Am I right that at this time there was no visible difference between Columbia records sold in the US and those sold in Canada? See here
