 On YouTube, you can have a brief look at the original Columbia black "Magic Notes" label, although the contributor there apparently has no idea from which year the record comes from (he guessed 1916, one of the commenters knows better though).

 Although this record was definitely first issued in 1908, as it was correctly submitted, the displayed blue "gold band" label version was issued much later, between 1917 and 1923, see http://majesticrecord.com/labelscolumbia.htm.
