xiphophilos 15th Oct 2022		The foot of the single T that I see in addition to the T T on image 1916974 almost touches the top bar of the left T of the TT but is turned 45% clockwise.



Whyperion SUBS 15th Oct 2022		Dont know, need to see other TT to compare , I cannot see a T on its own clearly embossed. Given the release date there should be Labels with no tax code and a clear T tax code on them ( but were the first releases a 12in under diff cat number ?) Discogs Images fill the missing time with a DT (Double Tax) pressing which presumably would have implied that any T pressings unsold remaining after a year of DT would be quite rare ? Discogs also has a pressing with no apparent tax code (actually two releases with one just showing a nice clear image of the Ave Maria Side



xiphophilos 15th Oct 2022		The variants have now been dated. The B side on the first set of labels has first a T (in force October 21, 1940 – April 14, 1942), then a TT tax code (in force April 14, 1943 - April 9, 1946) embossed into the narrow center ring. Could the TT have been applied successively to older label stock still in the pressing plant before the labels were then attached to the record?
