The Comedian Harmonists, the best vocal group in Germany in the 1930s, recorded in German, English and French. They were forced to disband in 1935 by the Nazi government.

(The film clip is completely unrelated to the song. It's the movie "Der Einbrecher" (the burglar) from 1930, with Willy Fritsch, Lilian Harvey, Heinz Rühmann, Kurt Gerron. It can be watched with the correct sound here.)
