Youtube video from HollywoodMemoir of Teresa performing Music on her first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, then called The Toast Of The Town. Early 1950.

It can also be seen at the Teresa Brewer Center.
This clip was on a compilation video, but I can't find that now.

It was just one of those cases where the original A side didn't do bupkis - but what was supposed to be the B side took off like lightning, topping the Best Seller charts of BB for a month, and launching a career which lasted decades (and ultimately included different covers of the tune in question including an orchestral version on Coral [musical director Dick Jacobs - as clearly mentioned on the label], another recording on Philips, and a British-made rock-oriented remake on Flying Dutchman / Amsterdam).

No, the bside did become a number 1 hit but its the definately the B. I believe this was in the days when either side of a record could chart as piano sheet music would be included in the sales/ chart 'rating'?
The subject has been covered on 45cat by W.B.lbl

Despite what it says on the labels, I'd say that Music! Music! Music! was the A-side
