I'd guess that this LP (LK4249) would have been released in either December 1957 or January 1958

The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company - The Pirates Of Penzance		I've got one of these (the other one). I was surprised to notice that I only had half of the album!

It doesn't have a gatefold sleeve or anything, just two separate LP's, and I imagine it was done this way for affordability reasons. The buyer would have had the option to buy one of the LP's, then the other when he/she could afford it
