 Unfortunately, info about this label seems virtually non-existent. The copy with the Italian tax stamp does support it being an Italian label, though. Cavalli & Co. may have imported its records straight from Italy, just like they did many of their books and other goods.

 I came across that page as well and was actually wondering the same thing.

Having said that, over here on the B-side of the disc there's a remnant of what appears to be a tax stamp written in Italian - on the top it says "diritto d'autore" (author's rights) and I think that on the bottom right it says "Milano." There's also a tear on the A-side, though, right where the Cavalli store sticker is on my record.

Also - thanks for looking into the store sticker, interesting to know that A. Cavalli & Co. still exists.

 I wonder if this is, in fact, a 1920s U.S. American label even if the recordings themselves were made in Italy. The Public Domain Project shows five more records with this label, and all of them were sold by the same store in the Italian area (North Beach) of San Francisco.

A. Cavalli & Co, 255 Columbus Ave.(image), was an Italian book store founded in 1880. It still exists albeit at a different address: 1441 Stockton St.(source)
