Ok after playing the record and checking on you tube, you are correct, Folk man and Jock girl.

The music on the record sounds like gypsy music and has no vocal. Therefore the A side has the wrong label. The stamp in the shellac is also 25-5039-A. Thanks for all the comments. Bob

The Marina Koshetz track was a part of album set S 55 (as indicated on the label). If you look at the image here

Marina Koshetz presents Gypsy Airs

and in particular zoom the second image, you will see 'S 55' at the bottom.

The proper B side should be "Shto Mue Goré (There’s No Sorrow)"

There is a nice image of it here
B Side

My guess is that this is a label error

The entire set was 26-5039, 26-5040, and 26-5041.

I wonder if the matrix numbers match the labels? This looks like a typical label error as it's almost too much of a coincidence that it's the right number but wrong label? Just a hunch...

This must be a special issue... an amalgam of two completely different releases 25-5039 and 26-5039 and then further complicated by the exact same 5039 number which could have been planned by RCA

Good catch!! I did not notice that when I posted it. There are some Jewish Russians, perhaps it was made for them? I could not find any information on it. Maybe some kind of error? It appears to be a regular issue, but then, this is something I know nothing about.

 Here's an odd one.
25 prefix on one side...26 prefix on the other.
Normally it would be considered as a printers error but other listings for this show a completely different tune and artist for the A side
25 was Hebrew and 26 Russian series. Is this a special demo version of both??
