Western Ave., Hollywood, California Tex Ritter, vocals; Merle Travis, lead guitar; Wesley Tuttle, probably string bass; Frankie Marvin, steel; Paul Sells, accordion; plus Merwin Fischal, Carl Hunt, and Benjamin Zimberoff; Producer: Lee Gillette This is the 1st session featuring Merle Travis after he moved there in mid-1944, and met back up with Wesley Tuttle, who apparently got him the gig.
