SeverlyWarpedRecord 10th Feb 2023		Did cab Calloways records not sell very well in Canada? I’ve been looking for this record for almost 5 years and I’ve only ever seen 1 record by him. Even Canadian copies of his bigger hits from the 40s never seem to pop up on ebay

xiphophilos ● 17th Nov 2018		This record falls right between lots of corporate changes happening to the Brunswick label at the time. The B side shows the label as it looked when the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. released the record in March 1931. The A side, however, is from a slightly later pressing, reflecting the sale of the label to Warner Bros. in April 1930. The new company name is listed as "Brunswick Radio Corporation, Subsidiary of Warner Bros Picture Inc." That label style was itself short-lived (April 1931?-Dec. 1931) because in December 1931 Warner leased its Brunswick label to the American Record Corporation (ARC).
