still stated internally to be published by sidgwick & jackson †, still with the sidgwick & jackson isbn (and now with sidgwick & jackson bar-code number etc.) but almost entirely apparently a nel p/b externally. sidgwick & jackson ltd. was/were bought by pan macmillan, and the ''published by/in co-operation with'' arrangements presumably determined - or, at least, ceased to be operated - after this printing.
