two near-identical variants both identified as first printings in the indicia:
one definitely bears the printing history number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

the first with printing number line has the diagrams/plans section bound between pp. 155/156,
t'other between pp. 122/123;

these may be the near-identical canadian-carcassed and wholly merkin-printed variations, but this is currently uncertain.

@annaloog - thanks for filling in the blank. Although the cover of my copy as scanned was in beautiful shape (which is why I was willing to pay $10 for it), the spine had a bit of damage and didn't have a number visible.

This is Avon 71 (cat. no. added, and this title added to my Avon list) — the cat. no. should be printed on the book's spine * ... and it is listed in the catalog listing in my copies of Avon 107 and Avon 109.

* Avon 1 - 40 are not numbered, but the cat. no. may be found in the Avon catalog listing printed on the inside back cover of these early editions.
