gregs45s SUBS 1st Oct 2016		Book Alan Aldridge - Bernie Taupin: The One Who Writes The Words For Elton John (1976)	I can see where you're coming from JPGR&B,but four of the sites i searched by using the ISBN,Amazon,eBay,Able Books,World Of Books all site Bernie as the author,i have since passed the book on,so can no longer confirm,but as i recall,there was no text as such,just his lyrics with graphics (?),happy if you want to change it however.

gregs45s SUBS 4th Aug 2016		Book Horatio Clare - Down To The Sea In Ships (2015)	@Terence Archer .Good spot,although oddly it was the "Gerd" that the author spent some months aboard (still Mærsk though).An interesting book which gives an insight into the often forgotten/taken for granted world of cargo shipping,which worldwide,operates 24/7/365,supplying us with what we need and indeed,what we think we need.Mostly crewed by Filipinos,who,at the time of writing this book,seemed to be grossly under-paid.The sheer tonnage moved around the world each year is staggering,these giants seem to take it in their stride though.A few eye-openers within,for example,there's a floating mass of rubbish in the Pacific that's the size of Texas!,mainly plastic,which took them two and a bit days to sail along one edge,nowadays,there are restrictions as to what can thrown overboard,but this has only been in practice for the last ten years or so.An interesting read.

gregs45s SUBS 27th Jan 2016		Book Bruce Marshall - The White Rabbit (2002)	Astonishing true story,a "must read" IMHO.The courage of this man and indeed those around him truly is an inspiration,we will be forever indebted to them all.Wing Commander F.F.E. Yeo-Thomas has also been identified as the inspiration behind James Bond by an historian here.

gregs45s SUBS 20th Dec 2015		Book Various Authors - Sentinel (1979)	Great artwork here.There are many designs in this book that are either in use today,or,at least,are not too far off being used.Amazing considering a lot of his designs were done in the late 60's/70's,and i swear i've seen many of his ideas used in Sci-Fi films,inspired,recommended.(NB Most sites have the publisher as A&W). Added an image of a car design that John DeLorean just might have seen?;)

gregs45s SUBS 26th Nov 2015		Book Drake - Self And Sex Series (1908)	This volume relating to the wife had a companion volume "What A Young Husband Ought To Know",both offering guidance as regards sex,marriage,and the correct upbringing of children in a middle class Victorian environment.I have no idea if the date is correct,or rather ,if this a reprint.I had to lighten the front cover image considerably as it is just embossed,the back is a plain dark red.Mrs.Emma Frances Angell Drake,M.D.

This copy is well tatty,or should that be well-read,as usual,please feel free to replace any/all scans.

gregs45s SUBS 7th Nov 2015		Book Terrance Dicks - Doctor Who And An Unearthly Child (1982)	I'm not sure of the year here,so have added a scan with the ISBN etc.Does anyone know if there is any truth in what i've been told,that the last digit of the ISBN number indicates the edition?,well i was actualy told that 0 = First Edition,1= Second,2 = Third,any truth in that?,or is that all rubbish?Which i suppose would make this a third edition?
