I know when I got mine (after watching the TV series) I was under the impression it was non-fiction. Like Schindler's Ark/ List it is usually sold from the fiction section in UK bookshops. Alex Haley described it as 'faction'...

The edition I've entered is the 'standard' hardcover,although my edition is one signed by Kenney and given a special ISBN/ barcode by Waterstones (9781788701099) and sold as such. 8/10/20: added my cover, for illustrative purposes. Sticky barcode aside it doesn't differ.
