Note: Dust jacket is part textured; the dog (front and rear) and rodent (spine) have a raised outline.

I can't recall when I got it, but pretty sure it was before the Mark Johnson book (1984) No publisher or compiler; a mine of info in the pre-internet era! Rear cover is blank.

(1991)	@russh229: Mine had a load of pages come out too, though not as bad as the Who Maximum R&B book (1982) which has been kept in an LP plastic sleeve for decades. Also an Eel Pie publication, I presumed it was a manufacturing issue not just they were well read! However the Who book had a flexi enclosed, which may have weakened it.

They came out five or six years before I joined the book trade and were privately published. I've been keeping an eye out for a few years as I do like my local books, but the print runs can't have been massive. They crop up occasionally online, but usually expensive, the last one I saw online was about £90! I finally stumbled on book one in a chazza, priced at 75p, I nearly fell over.

Meanwhile, some Ottakar's branches carried ranges from the same source; the Poole branch having Francis Frith books and notebooks to match.

OldMod67 8th Feb 2024		Book John Wyndham - The Best Of John Wyndham (1973)	Re: a hardcover edition. There was a hardcover released in 1975, titled The Man From Beyond and Other Stories which apparently had the same content as this. The publisher, however, was Michael Joseph so I may be in error. I still don't have a copy so can't confirm personally. In fact I still haven't got around to getting the paperback or indeed the two individual volumes.
