 john e. muller is/was a john spencer & co. house name, used here on a novel by the notoriously shy and retiring r. l. fanthorpe mbis, sometimes rev.

as it is a house name, it would be incorrect to state it was the pen name of any one of the authors upon whose work it appeared

 Is this related at all to the movie? I'm just about to index another book with the same title that is a novelization of the film.
