Original novel based upon the TV series. First of three books published in this series. Disch is sometimes erroneously credited as the creator of the series due to this book. Some later editions retitle the book The Prisoner: I am Not a Number! Cover depicts Patrick McGoohan as Number Six.

23skidoo 22nd Jul 2019		Reprint of a novel originally published in 1967 or 1968 as titled just "The Prisoner". I've seen a few reference books erroneously credit Thomas Disch with creating the TV series, but this was just a tie-in novel. (this comment is from another edition of this book)
