23skidoo 21st May 2020		@ppint. The Boxtree reprint of 1992 has "I Am Not a Number!" as the official subtitle on spine and title page, but I agree the subtitle on this one shouldn't be here. I'll ask for it to be removed.



23skidoo 22nd Jul 2019		Reprint of a novel originally published in 1967 or 1968 as titled just "The Prisoner". I've seen a few reference books erroneously credit Thomas Disch with creating the TV series, but this was just a tie-in novel.



ppint. 10th Jul 2019		the phrase given as the subtitle is just a recurrent phrase from the series, used as a strap-line. it is not used on either of the two prior editions' covers, nor any of the three editions' title pages.
