| annaloog 19th Nov 2023 | I've been wondering if the 'backward h' might be a control character for machine-readable text, used at a time (1970s) before digital scanners and computers became ubiquitous. I have a number of Berkley books whose covers bear the same monospace type font for the book number. The '425-02534-075' no. isn't really an ISBN ... it appears to have been adapted from the SBN for retail inventory purposes. The ISBN-10 as shown is possibly correct for this title, but I'm dubious that it was actually assigned to this edition. mod edit: ISBN-10 removed | |
