 were the covers and/or the carcass of this edition printed in canada?

it would be stated in the indica if the carcass (sometimes "book" in merkin usage) was,
and on the card covers, if they were.

(elsewise, this would've been the merkin mmpb published by popular library, inc,
with end pp. advertising for other titles at 25¢ each, available from popular library, inc. new york, ny)

 the doublday science fiction book club edition was 3/1950 according to the publishing history in the bantam mmpb, which gives the first (book trade) three h/cvr printings of the first edition as 9, 10 & 11/1949, and something called the book league of america h/cvr printing as 2/1950: since the popular library first mmpb edition is dated 9/1950, 3/1950 seems a perfectly reasonable date for this merkin book club edition. it gives a fourth doubleday trade h/cvr printing as 1952, so evidently the markets for h/cvrs at around $2.50 and for mmpbs at 25¢ really were pretty well completely separate.

 Though it says 1949 on the copyright page I am unsure if the book club edition would be released the same year as the original - so I didn't add that date.
