| | I bought my copy in Australia but it is the "Made in E.U." version of this release uploaded by 55bluesman. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a copy of this on the "Dark Side Of The Moon". A bit strange I didn't end up with the Australian version uploaded by goodbear66. |

| | How's this for odd... my disc is made in Holland, but in a case sleeve printed in U.K?
I suppose demand was such that they almost "Contract Pressed" it, taking sleeves and discs from wherever they could, to get them into the shops. |

| | I changed to EMI United Kingdom [International]. I added disc with rim text "Made in EU" - Cat# and bar code and booklet/cover are the same. |

Dr Doom SUBS 14th Jun 2014
| | Of course in many cases we won't know if there are variations between countries releases until they are uploaded. It's no disaster if something is classified as 'Australian' and then we decide later that it should be 'International' and the same in reverse.
We can change the designated territory as more information appears. |

| | These are good questions. Maybe Orbiting Cat or Dr Doom can give a more authoritative answer (we're still in the Beta Test phase if I'm not mistaken). Personally I like the idea of having only one entry for related issues (with the same cover and booklet and only slightly different manufacturer information) where Discogs has a confusing ten or more entries, and some of them duplicates in fact. |

| | I have now considered what Orbiting Cat wrote. This is the first time I have personally seen this (sorry if I have missed it). It seems to suggest that the majority of discs are probably International but how would an uploading member actually know that? It's a very flexible choice so that's why personally when I have evidence of Country of Manufacture or know for a fact that a CD was only issued in that country, I enter it accordingly. When it says Made in EEC, I enter Europe of course.Lastly, is there a distinction to be made with evidence of Made in USA and Made in Canada or are they to be put under "International?" |

| | Look at the disc image, then go left of the hole in the middle and there I see "Made in Australia" |

| | Regardless of whether we'll merge it to International: I surely believe you, but where is the pointer to Australia on the images you uploaded? I still don't see it. |

| | The actual shop barcode on the price sticker is 0724382952290019958 - if that helps. The plastic case also has the indent "DATA (Digital Audio Technologies Australia)" with wave swirl logo. |

| | This was definitely manufactured in Australia (it even says so on the CD image uploaded) and this copy was sold in Australia and bought at HMV in Melbourne at the personal cost to myself of AUD $19.99. |

| | Was this actually manufactured in Australia? Well, it's also on Discogs like that although I can't find any evidence for it. Anyway, it has the same European price codes under the barcode as those issues expressly "Printed in the U.K.". I assume that we'll have to change all 1994 Pink Floyd EMI issues, may they be from the UK, Continental Europe or Australia, to "International" and to EMI United Kingdom (as this was the more specific label). As said on the forums (CD Album changes thread):
Orbiting Cat wrote:
... CD Album World is more product-based than other worlds, so normally there will be just a single entry for each barcode.
When adding CDs, the first options shown are International and Europe, as many CDs will fit into those categories. "International" just means that it was released in more than 1 country. It doesn't mean that it was released worldwide. So it's a very flexible choice.
The US-made issue has to be a different entry then, as it was on Capitol and has another barcode, but I'm not sure about South American issues that may have different labels (just EMI), catalogue numbers or barcodes. |
