gregs45s SUBS 11th Jul 2017		I would perhaps be wary of definitely labelling the red fan Disc as 1983 MM,as,although it may have been issued in the 1983 artwork,it could possibly just be a later Disc 84/85/86 (or whatever date) inside/using up old artwork stocks,(just a thought,however,i'm sure a Vertigo collector will let us know in time;)



Magic Marmalade 11th Jul 2017		Added Red Swirl disc scan. While the red swirl appeared in the other packaging with alternate barcode, mine came in this packaging, with this barcode / cat arrangement (see the other contemporary linked entry below), and having found another the same as mine the same day, this cannot be pure coincidence, and would strongly suggest that the Blue Swirls appeared first in this packaging, with this barcode, then the red swirl disc was sold in it, before having the packaging and barcode changed, but with this red swirl disc in it. (Looking at the typography, it seems that itcameoutofthesky's blue swirl is the first, then nicoldo's, before being changed to the red swirl)



itcameoutofthesky 6th Aug 2016		Added the first pressing of this one. Bought it on April 2nd, 1983, my first CD ever. I didn't even had a CD player at that time, but I just had to have this one :-)



fixbutte 10th Nov 2014		First (early 1983) issue with a different barcode (3 259180 005122). The displayed Vertigo Blue Swirl disc (originally submitted by nicoldo64 and moved from the later issue) is the second one, the first one also had a blue text instead of a black one.
