 On vinyl, Band On The Run was a favorite of mine. The title song was in the discos when I was on holidays in the UK (Wales & London) in 1974, and I loved it. Though I own the LP, I hadn't heard it for decades when I finally bought it on CD in the 1990s. Listening to it then, I was very disappointed, found it shallow and boring, and never wanted to give a listen again..

Not all of the polaroid snaps on the original poster were included in the CD booklet. The black and white vinyl inner sleeve picture of Paul, Linda and Denny with a group of African children is also missing. The lyrics were originally printed in white on a black background, but they chose black on cream for this CD.
