Alison's Uncle" was not on the original LP...
"Added to this historic session is a tune that remained unissued until 1982 when it was issued in limited edition in Japan.Although the piece did not have a title at the session,Adderley's brother Nat named it at the time of release.Since Nat's daughter Alison was born on that very day,he thought it fitting to title the piece "Alison's Uncle".With the advent of the Compact Disc, the major session is issued in it's complete form for the first time."

Good afternoon. Track 06 is indeed (the bonus) Alison's Uncle. I will add a new European entry. Thanks for your help.

Likely yours was manufactured in NL for Europe-wide distribution. What's the title of track 06 on yours? If it's 'Alison's Uncle' then you should add a new entry (with 'Europe' as the country). If it's called 'Bangoon', then perhaps it should be added to the existing Europe entry as a variant.

Quick enquiry: I tagged this as 'owned' from memory, but just playing it now I see the front and rear have minor printing differences ie barcode horizontal and lower. The barcode and cat. no are the same, but without CDP prefix. An additional/ alternate number of DIDX 899 appears outside the info box.The small print states 'place of manufacture as stated on label. Marketed and Distributed by EMI'
I see my disc states it was made in Holland, the sleeve also. If this is to be a new entry can I get clarification please, as I dread the 'international ' thing and see contemporary issues under 'Blue Note Europe (e.g.Jimmy Smith's January '87 issue of Back At The Chicken Shack) rather than Dutch. Thanks
