| | I have added scans of an additional 4 page inner intended for the CD booklet, titled “Paul McCartney on Pet Sounds”, which was printed up on gloss paper but then ultimately never used by the record company for the release. The main booklet inner pages are otherwise identical to those scanned on this site for the 1990 USA release. My disc is the Made In Holland version. |

| | Added a further European variation of this release.
The artwork shows the sub UK cat# of CZ 311 however the main cat# and barcode remains the same. The disc is mark "Made in Holland".
As far as I can remember this was bought in Winchester on it's UK release in 1990. |

| | I hereby sentence you to 3 years slaving over a hot scanner ;).Easy done, especially when it comes to these pesky Fame reissues, they keep exactly the same Cat No./barcode and just tag CD FA ---- on the end :(.My apologies to GEMSFAN for requesting the country change. It's up to the moderators as to what happens here,i suppose that really it should be split into two different entries :
one for
Cat.No. CDP 7 48421 2 / barcode 077774842129 country "International"
and one for the Fame reissue
Cat No. CDP 7 48421 2 / CD FA 3298 / barcode 077774842129 country "Europe" |

gregs45s SUBS 28th Jul 2015
| | I asked for this to be changed to Europe as the Cat.No. is listed as :
CDP 7 48421 2 / CD FA 3298
which is a specific UK/European release only (fame mid-price reissue)(with matching images)
you have since added US images for CDP 7 48421 2 (solitary Cat.No.) which is a UK/US release i.e "International" .
Addenda :
I think i see what might have happened here,i wonder if you initially submitted a solitary Cat.No. CDP 7 48421 2 and US as the country, then perhaps plocky45 added his images of the UK/European issue and perhaps asked for CD FA 3298 to be added as a secondary Cat.No?(apologies to plocky45 in advance if that bit's wrong),then i've come along and seen the dual Cat.No. and asked for it to be changed to Europe?.
Either way,they should be separated somehow,you see don't i ;) |

GEMSMFAN 28th Jul 2015
| | who is changing info, based on the later images added... greg78s? I submitted this as a U.S. release and my back inlay and disc label look different. If anything, make this "International", (as was done on The Beatles Parlophone/Capitol/Apple releases), but not Europe based on plocky45's 3 images. |

plocky45 SUBS 8th Jul 2014
| | I seem to have the version mentioned by YankeeDisc, a UK issue with the same primary catalogue number and bar code; presumably this should now be entered as International?
The UK catalogue no. CD FA 3298 appears on the rear cover, but not the disc.
Rear booklet, rear cover and disc images added. |

YankeeDisc SUBS 3rd Jul 2014
| | .....I have this CD issue, bought in London, late summer 1990, but a UK/Europe issue, with the same "bonus tracks wording" on the front inlay. I will post it eventually.
Definitely I remember buying it, as a couple of months later, my mother passed away, which tends to fix your mind on relative events.
Around that same year, all The Beach Boys double-pack CDs, most with bonus tracks, were being issued in UK, and I think I have (or had) all of them. The US issues are already posted. |

| | You apparently mean that this album (Pet Sounds) was released on an earlier CD issue without the bonus tracks. I have the 2001 edition which packs the original mono version and Brian Wilson's remixed stereo version of the album plus a bonus track (Hang On To Your Ego) on a single CD, still to be added to the database. [meanwhile done, see linked issue] |
