the reviews found on the enhanced portion of this CD do not jive with this one:

A follow up to their 1998 EP, I'd Like to Solve the Puzzle, Bob Fields continue to ride the MP3/B-side wave that gave them their cult following. After drummer Joel Weisburger was replaced by Dave Noel, the band have enhanced their pop-oriented sound with a more punk-inspired delivery. Now their first album certainly has some flaws, like the misdirected, off-tempo sludge of "Trouble With the Knees," which has promise to go much further but doesn't. "Road Map" and the anemic "More Than Me" also suffer the same fate. "Save It Up for Fall" seems to wake the album up from a lengthy stupor, with guitarists Chris Langston and Mike Moebius adding a good backdrop. The album's desire to be radio-friendly is its greatest flaw, however. Lacking a degree of cohesiveness, the record wanders from genre to genre in the hopes of finding something that sticks. A perfect example of this is the epic eight-minute finale "Tracing Paper." Veering stylistically makes the song relatively soft, and, at times, quite amateurish. AllMusic Review by Jason MacNeil
