Norah Jones - Come Away With Me (2002)
Hi PhilMH/Lee
I think you're probably both right, that the copy i have is indeed a NZ release, it's probably just another case of European artwork being used for a NZ release, as has happened many times with Australian issues.
As you point out, it would have made no sense to get extra Discs made in NZ when Europe must have been making them by the bucket load.
This was bought second hand, so i can't confirm Disc/artwork are right together, so i will put in a request to create a separate NZ entry for now, and hopefully someone who has bought one from NZ can confirm/deny either way.
Cheers

A curio, i found that the Disc in my copy of this European release said "Disc Made In NZ", and it is indeed made/pressed by Stebbing of Auckland New Zealand.
My artwork matches the artwork shown here exactly, and so it is the European release
I've also checked on Discogs, and there is no New Zealand copy, only two Australian ones but both those Discs were made in Australia and have different artwork.
I can only imagine that due to popularity of this release, they had extra Discs pressed in NZ to cover demand.

Weather Report - Heavy Weather (2007)
Discogs has it as Italian, it has "Sony Music Entertainment Italy S.p.A" on the artwork, so i'm assuming it's Italian.
Are we still listing Italian releases separately?, or has that changed recently?Quite happy if you want to make it European, but then wouldn't all the other Italian entries have to be changed as well?

Just checked with a friend (who's CD this is) as to whether the CD (which carries the USA/Canadian Cat.No.CK 65108) was correct for this release, and he confirmed that it was indeed the Disc that came with this copy.
(Annoyingly, Discogs has no Disc image/info for this release, so i can't confirm)

Anyone know the correct term for these card cases where they only pull out so far? ("slipcase" seems too obvious a choice:)
(I would think that a lot of these have been damaged by people being a bit too keen and pulling out the tab too far:)
Oh, check that, just spotted the DBS on the back...."DBS" = "Discbox Slider"

Hothouse Flowers - Home (1990)
If i have made a previous comment to change to International then i'm pretty sure that must have been a while ago now (?), when the International thing was the way we were doing things, and, if that's the case then i apologise, but i have made many such comments before, but they were relevent/correct at the time of writing, but now/fairly recently i thought things had changed, and we weren't making things International to aid searches.
Please don't patronise me MM, i am fully aware that the European grouping of course constitutes more than one country (usually), and if that two or more countries are involved then by definition it's International, what i am saying is that surely we should stop grouping together on this site, or has logic totally gone AWOL :)
(The Canadian/Australian entries only are an exact match if you REALLY feel the need to lump these two together, then you're the Mod, but to what end?, both country ID's will be lost in the process for the sake of making two entries into one)
(Anyhow, i did what i said i wasn't going to do by getting involved in this whole International affair, and, sure enough, it has only brought stress again, i should have learned by now, so i'm outy))

?
I thought we were going to stop making entries International,?
Because as soon as that happens the entry then loses it's true origin, i.e, UK/European/US etc.
Why not leave this as European and When the Canadian one comes along it can be entered as Canadian, and the Australian left as it is as Australian, surely three separate entries under the correct countries is far better than bunging it all in the "International" bin where they effectively lose their identity and are therefore lost in the system.
If someone wants to look for the Canadian release for example, they are unlikely to look at an International entry, it's just complicating things further and making them harder to find.
This has been discussed many times before, and i thought it was getting towards being sorted.
Please don't go changing thing to International just for the sake of it, what's the point?, when you can already have 3 correctly identified/matched images/entries to their respective countries.
(The Canadian release by the way is only an exact match to the Australian entry as the label is London/Polydor.)
So, surely, it's worth keeping them separate for the sake of amalgamating just two releases in this and virtually all cases.
In most cases of potential "International" exact (Label/Barcode/Cat.No.) matches, it's usually only two or three CD's that have EXACTLY the same Label/Barcode/Cat.No in my experience, so why can't we just leave them under their two or three respective countries?, surely, you're not running out of server space already deep within the mountains of Switzerland ;)
(If it ain't broke...)

The KLF - The White Room (1991)
Discogs has this as a Scandinavian release, but, as we don't have a Scandinavian option, and the fact that it mentions that it was also distributed in the UK on the back, i have gone for the European option.
"COMA Records"

COMA is an acronym for 'Copenhagen Offers More Action'.

Danish techno/rave label, which existed 1989-1994 as a division of Mega Records and released records throughout Scandinavia.
Established by "Bageren fra Hobro", Kenneth Bager (Dr. Baker). This label and especially Kenneth Bager brought the whole evolving dance/techno scene of the time to the Danish people; styles and genres like rave, balearic and garage became known through the COMA label.
Artists included Dr. Baker, The KLF, The Shamen, TBM 1, A Split - Second, Miro (2), Mental Generation, Leila K and many more.

Due to disagreements (royalties) with Mega Records, the COMA label was closed in 1994.

Hi, just looking through the many variants of this release on Discogs, and your 1993 Disc variation (image 336872) with "Stereo" is a misprint, not worth a bundle though unfortunately, the median price just being £3.62, mind you, hang onto it for another 20 years and who knows:)
