Lee Wrecker 12th May 2018		CD Album The Incredible String Band - Original Album Series (2012)	Bought in Australia and like all these Rhino 5 CD sets it's international by this site's reckoning. I entered this as an EU release but if we follow the guidelines we'll need to change all of these sets to international. Every goddamn one of them! Personally, I'm happier to own an EU release that I reconcile with the data on the CD set rather than a international copy that will be mistakenly re-entered as an EU release time and time again.

Lee Wrecker 12th May 2018		CD Album Various Artists - One For The Road (2014)	Added missing scans CD and back cover. Unfortunately my back cover is slightly ripped but I'm not. The glue they use to attach these CDs usually rips either the cover of the magazine or the CD cover in this case it was the CD cover. Them's the brakes.

Lee Wrecker 12th May 2018		CD Album Various Artists - Music From & Inspired By Shaft (2000)	I agree leonard and gregs45s you are both right and it just goes to show what a (bad) joke the international classification is. I read somewhere else, in a forum on the site I think, someone saying the guidelines are not rules and you can enter things as you please. That is happening all over the shop on the site and while none us like this method we probably understand it better than most and still can't agree on specific entries such as this. The category has to go - it's a nightmare that has the capacity to make the whole site an incomprehensible irrelevance.
Lee Wrecker 9th May 2018		CD Album Various Artists - Music From & Inspired By Shaft (2000)	whitewhale1965 states "The Canadian release is identical including label and cat#." This is a problem and one we seem to overlook for some reason. USA and Canadian releases often (10 to 20%) share cat#, label and barcode details but does that make them international? Personally I'd rather they be listed separately unless a third country used the same details. What do people think?
Lee Wrecker 6th May 2018		CD Album Carl Wilson - Long Promised Road (2015)	The Shady Grove label (2015) specialises in releasing FM radio broadcasts. These recordings were not released by the artists or their labels and therefore should be listed as bootlegs due to the fact we do not have an unofficial category like the other site. So whether these are unofficial or bootleg recordings we list them as bootlegs and the same should apply to anything else on this label. There are other similar companies that do the same thing Leftfield Media for instance and their stuff (mostly FM Radio Broadcasts) is listed as Bootlegs too on this site.

Thanks to you know who for not finishing this off in the first place. Hey nboldock I did listen to the Steve Wynn track you uploaded from this one and liked it a lot. Can't believe it's 15 years old - everything I've got in the last 20 years must still be new then.

The blurb on the back cover even says "The Who themselves and the producer of this LP, Shel Talmy, have an ongoing dispute over the rights, so it's up to us to serve the public. "It's a legal matter, Baby!"" Raise the Jolly Roger on this one there is no doubt about it..

Lee Wrecker 2nd May 2018		CD Album Models - Models' Media (1991)	Thanks Phil, I've sent a correction the Festival Cat# and sticker must have thrown me off track. A bit of an odd one with a Mushroom and Festival Cat #. This is the Festival re-issue of the 1986 Mushroom release which has the RMCD53216 cat# that also appears on the spine and booklet of this issue. I think they should be kept as separate releases when the original turns up. [Mod edit: Done]
Lee Wrecker 30th Apr 2018		CD Album Anton Barbeau With The Bevis Frond - King Of Missouri (2005)	I'd go for Canada as the country I'm sure Bongo Beat is a Canadian indie local label and the equivalent of Rough Trade or Domino in the UK which we always list as UK labels. Don't fall on your sword and invoke Oates, Magic, just remember to take the whole thing a step further and "when in doubt, be extreme.” ...(Genesis P. Orridge). How do you like my transmutational quote joke Oates to P.Orridge??:)
Lee Wrecker 29th Apr 2018		CD Album Anton Barbeau With The Bevis Frond - King Of Missouri (2005)	I think the cat# on the spine (as is usually the case) is the primary cat# here and the same page referred to below lists about one third of the albums on this label that way too. So even the other site is unsure and I'm unsure about the Canadianality of this CD as it also has USA distributors listed on the back cover which would make it international by our reckoning. Same CD - two markets = international or can we add grey areas as country of release now?

I think the barcode should be just 777495562589 with the final 2 digits 02 referring to a Feb release, I think. Either that or add the final number 2 to this listing so it's 77749556258902 if there is space to do so.

Discogs also claims to have an EU made version with the same details but I'm yet to be convinced but the Australian re-release was identical to the USA original in label, cat# & barcode. The original Australian CD release was different for some reason.

Lee Wrecker 23rd Mar 2018		CD Album The Specials - Too Much Too Young (1996)	Released in Argentina and Canada with the same details. Most likely in Australia too. I have the Bryan Ferry release from this series on EMI Gold series and from the look of things this entire series will be international with the same details being used everywhere except Japan. They were not released at all in the USA it seems but I could be wrong there as I just haven't come across any yet. So, this should be made an international release. Correction sent.
