Mogwai - Come On Die Young (1999)
Added a full set of scans to this entry from Steptoe. Cover, Back Cover, Inlay and CD scans need to be moderated and then the rest shuffled into place or hidden.

Rolling Stones - Volumen 1 Coca Cola Presenta (1994)
It's a shame there is no CD mini album option in the dropdown menu when entering CD's then isn't it? Once again though some independent artists release EP's with more than four songs and they are for all intents and purposes a CD EP. Anyway, I've read the forum and have made some mistakes so I need to send a bunch of corrections in - no-one seemed to notice when they were entered. Thanks for the information sladesounds.

Oh here we go VJ what about CDs released as EPs with bonus tracks or Living End's Hellbound EP of 8 tracks and over 30mins. Surely "The Cramps" "Gravest Hits" is not an album and in fact is listed as a single on this site. The Six Ft Hick EP I uploaded last night is an EP with 4 bonus tracks making a total of 8 songs and clocks in at over half an hour but is listed as an EP on Discogs as is The Cramps' "Gravest Hits" and the Living End EP/Mini Album mentioned earlier. The 20min of different songs criteria would also make a lot of Blur and Supergrass singles albums by some weird magic trick. IMHO I still think this Stones CD is pushing it as far as being classified as an album.

Mutantes - A Divina Comédia Ou Ando Meio Desligado (1999)
The name of the band here should just be"Mutantes" they did sometimes use the name"Os Mutantes" but not on this occasion. Both names should however be linked to the same homepage for the band.

Os Mutantes - Everything Is Possible! (1999)
Discogs lists this as a European release but I can't find any references on the CD to support that so I have listed it as from the USA as the label and inlay indicate. I could be wrong though?

Rolling Stones - Volumen 1 Coca Cola Presenta (1994)
I'm not sure about this one? Is it a an EP, Single or Album? Personally, I would have entered this as a CD Single/EP, six songs does not make a Stones album in my eyes. Some CD EP's have more songs on them than this and unless these are all extended versions this entire CD would come in at around 25 Mins. and to me that is not close to albums worth of material. What do other people think?

Sent a correction on this last one Phil, thanks for supplying the exact dates.

Morphine - Yes (1995)
Hi Phil, did you miss the first one Morphine's "Good" CD. These are weird ones in that they have a Festival Cat# except for "The Night" which has the US Rykodisk# as it had changed from Festival to the The Festival/Mushroom Group and they didn't bother to change the cat# at this time. Dear me I'm turning into a trainspotter - anyway I'll send corrections on the label but these were a toss up so I went as Australian as possible.

I forgot to mention that this one is a Digipak but I suppose it's obvious from the shape and size of the scans.

k.d. lang - Shadowland (1988)
Okay, Pomegranate and Vinyl Junkie should I send a correction to return this to a USA release and re-enter it as an Australian release? I'm quite happy to that if it is the right thing to do. What do you think?

k.d. lang - Shadowland (1988)
Well, Vinyl Junkie have the MODS come up with some proper rules or protocols to govern these issues yet? Yes, it was made in Australia for the Australian market and yes it has the same cat# and barcode of the US release that existed on this page before I added my pics. See comments above, I also have some Mars Volta releases (Made In Australia) but they may have used the same barcode in Argentina and Mexico. I can't verify this personally but do I enter them as International or Australian in light of the fact I have no proof. I'll enter them as Australian I think and the MODS can sort it out if a Mexican or Argentinian release appears. But in this case the MOD that changed this release to International must have thought it the right thing to do but some other MODS don't. We clearly haven't come very far in the last month on this issue. I'll just bang my stuff in as I see fit and try and keep my head down where this issue is concerned. It is a shame as it does detract from enjoying the site to a degree.

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin [IV] (1994)
Australian cat# has no hyphens or spaces and is one continuous string of numbers ie. 7567826382. While using the same numbers the European issue is 7567-82638-2 both CD's have the same barcode too but the lost hyphens and no spaces make this Australian cat# different.

Uploaded cover scan for moderation and Australian Inlay and CD (same barcode and cat#) so this should be made International. I have sent a correction in also. Thanks to RPFiller for doing the initial entry.

I have an Australian copy with same cat# and barcode so this one should be made International. I'll upload pics soon and send a correction when they're in.

Jethro Tull - Essential (2011)
The Chrysalis cat# 6806812 is slightly different to the UK and Europe versions which are 6 80681 2 and 680 6812. Not much in it I know but if I'd listed it as International it would technically be wrong and not match up exactly.

The Jesus And Mary Chain - Psychocandy (2006)
Crikey, what a stuff up, got everything right except the name of the band. Sheesh, I've sent a correction to change The Jesus And Mary Chain ‎to The Jesus And The Mary Chain ‎so it matches everything else on the site. Just thought I'd get in myself before the trainspotters smoked me out and hauled me over the coals.

Elmore James - Standing At The Crossroads (1992)
The inlay carries the Castle Communications Australasia contact information. Not sure if this was distributed outside Australia so I listed as an Australian release. Could be international in many ways but is also a uniquely Australian release so just went with that for now.

Elmore James - The Sky Is Crying (1992)
Label and inlay carry the Castle Communications Australasia logo and contact information. Charly later released this in Australia under different cat# (RXB004) in Australia in 1999.

Linton Kwesi Johnson - Bass Culture (1989)
Added date as supplied Phil, it is close enough to my other Linton Kwesi Johnson entry on the Mango label cat# CCD 9770 and that is a 1990 release but 165 releases later than this one at CCD 9605. So 1989 makes perfect sense and is enough to go on until proved wrong.

Joy Division - Closer (1999)
Yeah, Greg I noticed your CD was different but thought my copy was bad enough colour wise but the bright yellow of your copy takes the cake. Anyway, looks like we've got this one covered for variants now unless there are duck egg blue or fuchsia copies floating around.

Joy Division - Closer (1999)
Added a full set of scans for moderation. The cover and packaging on this one is an atrocity! However, I think my scans are closer to the murky of yellow of the cover art. What was wrong with the idea of going with white like the original album? Oh, well, thanks to Greg for doing the original listing.

Interpol - Our Love To Admire (2007)
Where the images say "Booklet 4 & 5" and only have one image the missing image is a completely black page and in my opinion it was not worth inserting 4 plain black scans for the sake of completion. So just be aware that I took this option putting the images on the page.

Interpol - Turn On The Bright Lights (2002)
Please change to Australia as this is the only release with the bonus track "Specialist" and that makes this release different from all the others with the same cat# and barcode. Only found this out during the entry process so apologies for that. Released in Australia and the UK with same cat# and barcode. Later re-released in the U.S. with this cat# and barcode as well. As mentioned earlier the Australian edition is the only one with the bonus track.

Should have perhaps put Australia in the CD notes as well as Europe and Germany for the same cat# and barcode.

Screamin' Jay Hawkins - At Home With Screamin' Jay Hawkins (2010)
I was looking to replace my clapped out copy of the Edsel Frenzy album when I saw this on Global Retail "R" Us and it had everything on it I was after and the right versions. I didn't notice the out of copyright issue until you mentioned it but it's a great compilation nevertheless.

Hawkwind - 5 Album Set (2013)
Hi Phil, Yeah, the Australasia thing is a "boilerplate" I think we could do without. It does tend to confuse MODS and seems to not indicate anything in reality but the scope of the regional office of a multi-national company. I have seen this moniker on both NZ and Australian made discs with neither being available in the other country. So it is a conundrum specific to our region perhaps the Vinyl Junkie or Pomegranate have a theory on how best to traverse the "ditch" on these ones. But, yes quite a nice Hawkwind set here and a bit of a surprise for me to find it's an Australian only release. I would have thought the UK and Europe would have been a better market but it was pleasant to pick this up new for $20.

Hawkwind - 5 Album Set (2013)
Discogs only has this Australian edition listed but I find it hard to believe it is not an international release. We'll just have to wait and see if other copies appear and what the details of those are I guess.

Not sure about whether this and the linked release are one and the same, they're definitely on different labels though.
