philwill SUBS 13th Jul 2017		CD Album Blondie - Parallel Lines (1994)	The release date for CCD 1192 (not CDD 1192!) in Music Master 14th Ed. (1993) is Nov 1983 but R.E.D. CD Catalogue 18th Ed. (1998) gives a reissue date of July 1994 for CCD 1192 and I can just make out an IFPI number in the matrix in image 1178937. As these were only introduced in 1994 then this must be the July 1994 reissue?

Before that it seems to have been a stylised, lower-case "eg" (ROXYX 5) or an upper case "merged" EG (EGLP 104) with no sign of that apostrophe!

I would agree that BIEM / STEMRA makes the other one a European release and I would also guess that it's a 1994 or later repress with that barcode. Does it have SID Codes (IFPI) in the matrix, as here? As regards the label, I prefer E'G over EG but E’G currently has only 3 entries whereas EG has 40 (including US, Europe and International) so I cravenly went with the majority! Perhaps the Mods can link the 2 labels as they are clearly the same entity?

philwill SUBS 17th Dec 2016		CD Album Neil Young - Harvest (1984)	There is no evidence in the images for the original submission that this was indeed a US release and the other site has this original submission down as "UK & Europe". However, this serious collector of "target" CDs confirms that most were manufactured in either West Germany or Japan for distribution in the U.S. before domestic pressing facilities went online. Sadly, this doesn't get us any further forward... :-(

philwill SUBS 10th Dec 2016		CD Album Status Quo - 12 Gold Bars (1984)	Not sure why this is dated as late as 2003, when the 800 062-2 / 042280006228 combination has existed since Nov 1984 (the 800 062-2 / 3259180006228 combination belonging only to 800 062-2, the original 1983 CD release), The original CD image shows "Made in France by PMDC" and they operated under this name only until April 1999.
