ppint. 10th May 2022		CD Album Various Artists - Daytrippers: 50 Classic Tracks From The Sixties By Original Artists (1996)	track 1-15 composer is entered wrongly in a couple of ways: it should be corrected to ''sondheim, bernstein, emerlist/davjack'' if possible; or, if emerlist/davjack is not possible, to ''sondheim, bernstein, emerlist davjack'' ''emerlist/davjack'' is the single composite person made up from the first syllables of the nice's members' surnames, who is the composer of record of all compositions for the band by some, any and/or all of the original members of the band, created so as to share all songwriting royalties evenly, and not the two surnames of a song-writing team of two separate people; - and stephen sondheim's surname is definitely *not* ''sodheim''...

ppint. 5th Feb 2022		CD Album Cadillac [UK] - March Of The Rockers (2018)	whitewhale1965 suggests seeing the 8/1977 original lp release. whitewhale1965: i'm not sure the linking facility provided can (yet) link to releases on different recording formats - as opposed to other releases on the same format - in any ''sub-world''. the available option is to type out the link using bbc code in longhand in a comment, as i've done above: will this serve? (rewriting the linking facility to allow for linking between different sub-worlds' formats would likely require some relatively rare time of the - possibly mythical - creator; it's somewhat above the day-to-day powers of the semi-divine...)

ppint. 26th Oct 2021		CD Album John Fogerty - John Fogerty (2021)	- hi, philmh: is there *any* chance this is a legitimate release? - there's no named licensor nor credit for the source of the recordings, and no apparent acknowledgement of the publishers of the music, never mind any rights/collection agency... (wrt the label name, fwiw: the russian word that transliterates as "soyuz" translates as "union".)

ppint. 26th Sep 2021		CD Album Small Faces - There Are But Four Small Faces (Remaster Edition) (2014)	''there are but four small faces'' was the title of the first small faces album put together by cbs inc. /merkin columbia records (1967 q.v.), immediately° after taking over distribution, marketing and - it proved - deciding exactly what was released on the immediate label in north america, including details down to this album's track-listing and even the mixes used. (° - sorry) tracks 1-10 and 2-10 are so-titled on the back cover of the package book and in the bound-in booklet. this is, i believe, an error for ''here comes the nice'' originally made by merkin united artists: but it is a consistent error, and so appears intended here. ''the nice'' was private group slang for a number of things including their favourite drugs, their favourite drug dealer, particular favourite girlfriends, the approach of any and all of these, and good times in general (source: tv interviews with members). i've listed this as a charly / immediate release as its prominent re-use of the immediate label and logo design on both discs and on the book covers is specified as being licensed from bmg, who're evidently the owners of these properties. the only rights organisation given is mcps, and charly's licence is specified as being uk only.

ppint. 13th Aug 2021		CD Album The Alan Bown Set - Emergency 999 (2000)	i remember the alan bown set changing their name to ''the alan bown!'', the group's members changed somewhat, as the group/band stayed together through the billing change, more-or-less; and then was re-formed, later, as the band name changed again, to just ''alan bown'', on island records. as the alan bown set, they had a good, tight sound but i don't think they ever had a stronger single than ''gonna fix you good''.

(illegible, but by elimination must be by ''the gentlemen'') 8204782 portland 8204812 nick battle (seems to feature various vocalists) 8204792 as for me (matthew macaulay) 8205062 taste (philippa hanna) 8205092 phatfish the cat#s final ''2''s may relate to their all being issued in the cd format tracks 1 & 7 of the cd are advised as being from the album, these broken hands by portland tracks 2 & 12 from a candid history of faith, hope, love by the gentlemen tracks 3 & 9 from in jesus by phatfish tracks 4 & 10 from as for me by matthew macaulay tracks 5 & 8 from king of my heart by lee rogers tracks 6 & 11 from taste by philippa hanna there would seem to be a distinctly christian, religious theme to these tracks and albums.
