Discovered in recent reorganising I have both versions, and the matrix differs, as I think you infer in first comment. First matrix is on titles side, ending -10 11. Second matrix on reverse, ending 10-0101 54. Slightly different at beginning too. Being so hard to sort major acts like this, Mr N Young, Reg Dwight and many others; endless fun. How can we manage other poorly served heritage artists such as Iain Matthews, Johns Prine and Stewart, Micheal Nesmith and Mr R Thompson? I used to get print lists of every available release from local HMV in 1990s - for acts such as Elton John, Vangelis & James Newton Howard. After several of these I felt I was imposing and ceased.

Now found this slipcase 'version' - mine does still have the two colour advert inserts. To nboldock etal the case for a 2002 promotion date rests a bit in the 19th and last Guiness Book of Hit ..... pg 615 this cat no. hit the chart in JUL that year.

The last five digits seem to allocted where catalogue spaces remained at the issue time. This cd appears to be the only one with the US number included. Future ones dropped this!

rocket666 15th Feb 2020		CD Album John Lee Hooker - Boogie Man (1993)	Going deep down in my vault... I find I have 11 of nos 1 to 15 in gatefold digipacks!!! Missing are 2, 5, 8, & 10. Dated 1992 (1 to 8); 1993 (9 to 12) then MCMXC OR MCMXCII....Being digipaks they have no inserts. Cat no are BLU C001/ 012, then BLU CC013/ 015.. I think the series was stopped then and restarted in jewel cases a few months later in '93. Additionally the order of the artists in these issues is different to the later series!! AND the track listing for Vol 1. though it was J L Hooker the track list is completely different. rocket666 20th Jun 2018		CD Album k.d. lang - Shadowland (1988)	I have the European / 'Made in Germany' version, the disc text layout is quite different below the producer, and the spine and booklet both have 759.... as ppint. So we surely have at least three versions, USA with no scans, the Australian one shown here, and a European, which I or someone else may upload in the fullness of time..... There may even be a South American release with yet another slight variation of the 12 digit barcode (10 digit cat no). I do believe they should still be listed individually; and on day seperate country list will be available here. Thanks.
