rocket666 4th Jun 2018		CD Album Don Henley - Actual Miles (1995)	OH Dear, looks a bit mixed up Euro and US discs, this one clearly says Made in U.S.A. My Made in the EC copy has the US barcode as 7 2064-24834-2 8. With GED 24834 on disc, spine and rear by barcode AND the 12 page booklet. Do I make this a seperate entry, or Quad5 have you put the US info under 'UK' country???
rocket666 2nd Jun 2018		CD Album Eurythmics - Greatest Hits (1991)	my copy is third variant disc. Made / Printed in Germany but lower text begins '.... published by DnA Ltd ... (no ' ' marks) and edge rubric reading round from bottom to top, BUT reads from exterior rather than interior as the others!!

Accuracy can only be distilled down to a limited degree at such a distance from the original, well shrouded events. I do agree this, and any CD, can be repressed any number of times with tiny variations, (in the same way 7" singles have numerous versions with one cat. no.). It is always a different cat. no. that makes a different (RE-) ISSUE. See the near complete multiple reissue programmes of Van Morrison, David Bowie, and probably the richest man in pop - and my favourite act (see my collection), ELTON JOHN.

rocket666 23rd May 2018		CD Album Vangelis - China (1983)	RCA 1970's LPs out on CD late 80's. Polydor late 70' and early 80's LPs on CD '83 - '87. 'Mask' on Polydor 1985 all formats simultaneously. Recordings followed on;- D.G. Arista, and stopping with East West through the 90's. RCA compilations issued throughout the 90's also.

Mid-price LP reissue JUN 1987 on SPELP 106!! No CD reissue listed so perhaps there were enough copies of this one to meet demand....

Discs on CBS with all titles on lower half of discs; Made in Austria! Only THE CLASH in upper case on spines. Much more text at bottom on rear inlay and barcode at top right. All Cat no.s same. I think mine may be earlier version being on CBS, but does that merit a seperate entry!!!!
