rocket666 9th Mar 2023		CD Album Plainsong - In Search Of Amelia Earhart (1991)	I have 2 disc issue from 2005 on US Water label. Disc 1 adds radio sessions & disc 2 is 'Now We Are 3' and live tracks, Superceded now I suppose by the recent 6 disc 'Following Amelia' set. Also have German 'Sister Flute' ('96) and Dutch 'Pangolins' ('03). If only my scanner worked. Anyone else want to add them please.
rocket666 13th Nov 2022		CD Album Show Of Hands - Show Of Hands Live (1999)	Recorded live at the Bull Hotel, Bridport on Monday 8th June 1992, and released twice before. First on (cassette and) cd - The Road Goes On Forever RGFCD 010 -1992. Second on cd - Isis CDIS 06 -1994. Making this a reissue on the band's own label - formed in late 1995. 12 page booklet with lyrics, musicians and other credits. An asterisk appears after 10 songs on the booklet back cover and rear inlay, but no reference to this anywhere else. Possibly regards publishing as these are Knightley, and Clifford, originals.

Similar font but slightly different layout on disc, made by NIMBUS. Still PGCD1 - though barcode is 5 012984 517929. Where is this from?

rocket666 10th Jul 2021		CD Album Elton John - The Superior Sound Of Elton John (1970-1975) (1983)	Apologies all. I refer you to my lately entered DJMCD issues which I dated Feb 1986 for convenience and to keep them together. See comment to DJMCD1. As far as I can tell none of these have barcodes so actually could come from anytime in the three years before. The 2 I have are silver with black rim text. My 3rd is DJMCD 2 'Goodbye Yellow ......' (fat box) with silver discs, yellow 'Made in West Germany by Polygram' rim text and 7 digit cat no. in brackets under DJM CD2. And white spine to left, yellow spine to right. Perhaps that was expected to sell most and got the 7 digit number sooner, but still no barcode. I include some items to show a fuller story and hope scans, quickly, and exact dates, one day, will follow. May be I am wrong to add the DJM no. here (but it can be removed or all variations of these early discs can be in one place each). May be the date of this barcode copy should be a little later too. Who knows? As I said Discogs gives me headaches, and few proper answers. You could spend a year there one weekend and still find nothing clear. Particularly no monthly info. Thanks for you interest, and help. As my first two are 'Nimbus' I think UK is right. All others, to hand, Europe then.

They have it pictured with and without that number. I didn't check if the earlier one had a barcode on box - headache growing by the second!!
rocket666 9th Jul 2021		CD Album Elton John - The One (1998)	SOLVED; close look at cat. no. should have done it, but just pulled my HMV sticker from back of my CLASSIC YEARS 1998 issue of this, and clearly that is what this rear image shows. The '92 inlay has cat. no. above barcode and other formats info to left, plus only Phonogram log to bottom left. Additionally it has red spines. The '98 version having black spines. Thanks.
