stoutfellow51 29th Apr 2024		CD Album Michael Oldfield - Heaven's Open (1991)	By now Mike had reached the end of his contractual obligations to Virgin and he was eager to move on to another record company. This album, his last for Virgin, definitely has an "end of contract" feel to it and though it is workmanlike and is pleasant to listen to it certainly doesn't attempt to push any boundaries.

stoutfellow51 24th Oct 2023		CD Album The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones + 8 Bonus (2002)	Definitely counterfeit as Decca UK lost the rights to Stones material in 1970. Now all pre 1970 Stones back catalogue is owned by Abkco.

stoutfellow51 2nd Oct 2023		CD Album The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones (1984)	This album was only made in Mono so any Stereo versions are likely to be of the "Electronically Re-Processed" mish mash which never comes across as pleasing to the ear. For the best effect and reproduction of this great album stick with the Mono releases on vinyl as well as on CD.
stoutfellow51 3rd Oct 2022		CD Album The Beatles - The Decca Audition (2009)	The Decca sessions, recorded on 1 January 1962 in West Hampstead. The original vinyl 1979 issue and all subsequent releases seem to have come from a tape gifted to a third party in the 1960s by Brian Epstein. The Beatles have owned the tape since the 1980s and took legal action confirming that they owned the copyright in 1989. These recordings and the releases that contain them are thus unofficial under current copyright law.
