Since when have we had 33⅓ RPM CD's?

Germany" and the "Made In Germany" (both) disc images are now displayed. As pointed out there is a variance with the two "Made In Germany" images. Images 1354214 and 1570525 have the same matrix runout. Just wondering whether we should call it "runout" since CD's play from the center outwards.

The "BLCD" is on the disc, the first two characters relate to the series. I don't know what the suffix character "L" relates to, as the Outline series has "X" and the Line A series has "O".

The_Vinyl_Junkie SUBS 8th Sep 2017		CD Album The Velvet Underground - 1969 (1988)	@ Beggars Road: Whenever I have an entry that I list as a "local" release, it is because there is not an entry for the item from anywhere else. As soon as it appears from another country then I am more than happy to edit the "Country" to International as I now have proof. While most are more than likely to be International, I won't assume as such as the company may have done something oddball for a particular country. This happened quite a bit with 45's in Australia where we were the only country to have a different "B" side compared to the rest of the world. I have actioned both "Corrections".

I could not find any source to assist with more info and hopefully a member who is literate with the language can offer more details.

WEA Australia had 90% of their CD releases in the 80's through to the early 90's manufactured in Europe. This also applied to their 7" vinyl singles from about 1989 onwards. I will add the Australian release date to the notes shortly.

Finally found a copy from a small importer located in Victoria, Australia and even then had trouble as his Paypal had been blocked.
