vidman45 5th Apr 2015		CD Album Various Artists - Things Go Better With Coke: Sixties Coca-Cola Commercials 1965-'69	I have added scans for this interesting CD. Many thanks to 23skidoo for adding this item. I did not know how to enter a 64 track CD. BTW, track #64 is a Pepsi commercial by Joanie Sommers. This CD provides great filler material when I am making my own CD-R comps by any of these acts.

vidman45 25th Jan 2015		CD Album Various Artists - Billboard Top Rock 'n' Roll Hits (1993)	I believe the reason why this CD is out of sequence on the Rhino database is because it is a 1993 reissue. This Billboard series began in 1988. The copyright lease on one or more tracks ran out, and the songs were replaced on the 1993 issue, with the same catalog number. I do not recall what the replaced song(s) was/were.

I believe that the 3-tone car on the front cover is a 1956 Chrysler. My wife's grandmother had one of those with the same colours.

vidman45 17th Dec 2014		CD Album Various Artists - 25 Hard To Find Motown Classics, Volume 3 (1986)	Not long after the introduction of compact discs, many started showing up in cut-out bins. I found several of this series in the first CD cut-out bin at our neighborhood Best Buy store, and thought they were a bargain. I read some reviews of the early Motown CD's that were critical of their poor mastering. They sounded ok to me, and I have kept them in my collection all these years. The only thing that I questioned was "how did Duane Eddy get on Motown"?
vidman45 8th Dec 2014		CD Album Lulu - Something To Shout About (1989)	I found a few errors in the track listings of this disc. Track #12 is The Tymes' "So MUCH In Love", (composers: Jackson, Joseph, Williams), not the Cole Porter song "So In Love". Track #14 "Dream Lover" composer: Bobby Darin. I am not sure of the correct country of release. Cat #s seem to match other entries for Deram (Germany), and also Deram (Europe), if it makes any difference.

Could a moderator please move (or link) this to the main Bobby Vee discography?
vidman45 17th Nov 2014		CD Album Jive Bunny And The Mastermixers - Jive Bunny: The Album (1989)	I have a US Atco copy of this CD, and it seems to contain music snippets with the original artists (hit versions). I will try to add my US version tonight. A few years later, I bought the UK-Music Club CD "The Best of Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers", and could tell that they had remixed it substituting remake song clips for some of the same tracks.
vidman45 31st Oct 2014		CD Album Rick Nelson - The Best Of Rick Nelson 1963-1975 (1990)	When I added this CD, I used the last of several copyright dates shown on the cover (1990), but I think that this collection was not released until later in the 1990's. If someone has the actual release date, please change it. MCA was reviving the Decca logo at the time.

Credits are usually provided in One Day Music digipaks; in the 3-CD packages they are printed behind the transparent tray facing each disc - mod edit)
