Yes, very early CD-Albums had been made in Germany and Japan also for the US-Market as Export-CD-Albums.

I´m of the opinion that this CD-Single is not a UK-Pressing, because all of that rare Promos (the 1985 and the 1986 Editions) had been manufactured in Germany through Polygram / Phonogram for the Brothers In Arms-Worldtour and of course for promoting the "new" CD-Technology.

On a conventional CD-Player only the three audiotracks are audible, like a conventional Maxi-CD. Pioneer and Sony had a few models of CDV-Players in the Mid-Eighties.
78rpm-maniac 7th Jul 2013		CD Single Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms-Short Version (1986)	Don´t worry about the two CD-Singles of Brothers in Arms. There are two nearly identical pressings of that rare record. One had been released in 1985 and this one had been released in 1986. Same tracklisting, same Label, but not the same cover. This one has the triangular Tourlogo with 1986 and the 1985-version Shows the Tourlogo with 1985. The 1986 Version is possibly the most rare MAXI-CD by Dire Straits, with a Limitation of 200 copies only, but is is also not confirmed. The Brothers in Arms-Tour started in Yugoslavia on April, the 25th 1985 and ended in Sydney Australia on April, the 26th 1986. That was the biggest Worldtour in the Young career of Dire Straits.
