Tamás Vásáry - Chopin: Nocturnes Nr. 11-20 (1966)
Note that on the DG releases from around this period, the accents on Tamás name are 'a-grave' instead of 'a-acute'.

Jan Adamus, Palais Camerata - Schwarzenberg'sche Hausmusik aus den fürstlichen Archiven: Oboenkonzerte von Carlo Besozzi
Unable to date this one, except that based on the booklet notes it has to be 1997 or later. It also has no barcode. I wonder if this disc was offered to guests at the Hotel im Palais Schwarzenburg; the last part of the booklet describes the amenities of the hotel.

Radu Lupu, Szymon Goldberg - Mozart: Sonatas For Piano And Violin Volume Two (1977)
These recordings first appeared on a UK Decca 6-lp set (Decca 13 BB 207-212), ca. 1975-76. Released in the U.S. as three volumes, 2 discs each, they maintained the side numbers of the larger set, hence the sides 5-8 in this volume.

I think that the organist may be Eberhard Kraus.

Protschka, Kohler, Chamber Orchestra Of Dusseldorf - Kurt Weill's Der Jasager (1955)
Early pressings have yellow labels and full color sleeve with liner notes on the back. On my later pressing, the same liner notes are on the front of the sleeve, and the back is blank.

Lotte Lenya, Lewis Ruth Band, Theo Mackeben - Weill: Three Penny Opera And Mahagonny (1963)
There were some spelling variations of the singers' names between the cover and label. I used the ones that I determined as the more 'correct' for the soloist and track listings. The variant forms: Erike Helmke, Eric Ponto, Willy Trenck-Trebitsch

Lóránt Kovács, Győr Philharmonic, János Sándor - Joseph Haydn (Leopold Hoffmann), Michael Haydn Flute Concertos
The Hob. VII F. D 1 flute concerto was originally attributed to Joseph Haydn in the Breitkopf "Supplemento VI" of 1771. However the 1781 Breitkopf catalogue changed the attribution to Leopold Hoffmann.
The New Grove Dictionary for F.J. Haydn ©1982 lists the VII D major concerto under "spurious and doubtful", also attributing it to L. Hoffmann.

Alfred Brendel, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Bernard Haitink - Beethoven: The 5 Piano Concertos; Choral Fantasy (1977)
The text for the Choral fantasy is credited to (Christoph) Kuffner on this release. There has been some debate about that, various musicologists suggesting that the author may have been Georg Friedrich Treitschke. In any event the text and the music were written in haste in order to be premiered at the benefit concert of Dec 22, 1808.

San Francisco Symphony, Edo De Waart - John Adams: The Chairman Dances, Other Works (1987)
Much of the blue parts of the design (such as the Nonesuch logo) on my disc seems to be missing, apparently from a printing defect.

Karl Richter - Bach: Goldberg-Variationen (1979)
I was unsure how to regard the "aspekte" name; as a series, a sub-label or as the main label. I see that the 6.41337 cat number had been used prior to the aspekte release, though.
This 1956 recording was the first of five Goldbergs issued by Richter.

Wiener Philharmoniker, Leonard Bernstein - Beethoven: Symphonie No. 5 (1982)
These single disc releases were issued to coincide with the PBS TV airing of performances starting Jan 25, 1982. The scheduled release dates were:
- symphonies 1-4: Jan 1982
- symphony 5: Jan or Feb, not sure
- symphonies 6-9: Feb 1982

Geza Anda, Camerata Academica Des Salzburger Mozarteums - Mozart: Die 4 Letzten Klavierkonzerte (1984)
The cover for this 2-LP set is a little unusual, as it's a box-shaped container with a foam-rubber insert separating the two discs. I promptly removed that insert before it began to disintegrate.

Leonhardt-Consort, Gustav Leonhardt - Bach: Cembalokonzerte BWV 1055, 1056, 1053
Not sure about dating this one. I see that there are other, presumably earlier releases as SAWT 9538-B (no 6.41099), and "Royal Sound Stereo" on back, no Leonhardt or Edison on front.

Gustav Leonhardt, Gerhard Schmidt-Gaden, David Willcocks - Johann Sebastian Bach: Das Kantatenwerk Folge 4 (1972)
In case you're wondering what happened to BWV 15, "Denn du wirst meine Seele nicht in der Hölle lassen" was initially attributed to J.S. Bach, but scholars later determined it to be the work of his cousin Johann Ludwig Bach and reassigned it to the latter as JLB 21.

Alfred Brendel - Beethoven: "Hammerklavier" Sonata And Sonata Op. 78 (1972)
I'm fine with this as a Netherlands release. I have another Philips LP forthcoming from the same time period, with the same layout, so I'll designate it as NL as well :-)

Alfred Brendel - Beethoven: "Hammerklavier" Sonata And Sonata Op. 78 (1972)
Definitely pressed and printed in the Netherlands, but I suppose you could go either way with this one. The reason that I selected UK was based on the back cover text near the bottom (admittedly hard to read in the scanned image), just above "Printed in Holland":

Various Artists - Beethoven: Complete Overtures / Minuets, German Dances, Contredanses
Originally released in LP format, ca. 1975 (Masur) and 1978-79 (Marriner), then compiled and released in CD format ca. 1994.
My copy, presumably released some time thereafter: Manufactured and distributed by Musical Heritage Society under license from Universal Classics Group

Hampson, Te Kanawa, Upshaw, Furlanetto, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Levine - Mozart: Le Nozze Di Figaro (1991)
Looking at the track listings, scans of which I have included, it appears that the tracks on these discs have sub-track indices. But I cannot be sure as none of my current CD players display those sub-track numbers. My first (Sony) CD player did display them, but that one was put out to pasture long ago.

Academy And Chorus Of St. Martin-In-The-Fields, Neville Marriner - Mozart: Mass In C Minor "Grosse Messe" (1980)
Musicologist and author Howard Chandler Robbins Landon, who reconstructed parts of the Credo and Sanctus used in this recording, was largely responsible for chronicling the complete works of Joseph Haydn and bringing them to the public's attention.
