vidman45 17th Jul 2015		DVD Titanic - Paramount (1999)	Trainman, This becomes very complex, but we are only dealing here with the "1997" version of the Titanic movie. Wikipedia explains it better than I could: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanic_(1997_film) Scroll way down to the HOME MEDIA article. If there are some DVD versions here of the 1997 movie that are not labeled "Titanic {1997}", they need to have their titles edited by a moderator.
vidman45 17th Jul 2015		DVD Titanic - Paramount (1999)	Added the 1999 Wide Screen edition with a Tag for "Paramount Widescreen Collection". According to Wikipedia, this was the first DVD release of this film.
vidman45 17th Jul 2015		DVD Titanic - Paramount (2012)	I have a "Widescreen Collection" version of this DVD with a different Cat# (15522), bar code, and front cover. Running time 194 min. Should I add the covers to this item here, or make a new entry?
vidman45 9th Jul 2015		DVD Michael Palin - Himalaya (2004)	My wife owns a US/Canada release of this 3-DVD set, but I am not sure who the Publisher should be, or if I should add it. The artwork is slightly different than this BBC-UK set, but contains both BBC and WB (Warner Bros) logos. Back cover says "Distributed in the U.S. and Canada by Warner Home Video, Inc. Copyright 2004 by British Broadcasting Corporation. Package design c. 2005 by BBC Video Limited."

vidman45 8th May 2015		DVD Woodstock: 3 Days Of Peace & Music - Warner Home Video (1997)	Added disc scans for the double-sided DVD. Side A shows 1994 copyright date, whatever that means. My copy has the fold-out card cover on the plastic snap-close tray. The enclosed booklet is a 20 page catalog of WB DVD's. Buy 5, get one free by mail promo. Nothing relating to "Woodstock". To be honest, I have never watched or listened to this DVD completely. I only bought it to see the stoned hippies. LOL
vidman45 8th May 2015		DVD Woodstock: 3 Days Of Peace & Music - Warner Home Video (1997)	Graham7, Thanks for catching my error. I see what you are saying. I read the Wikipedia article on Subsequent Editions, and this looks like the 225 minute, (1994) 25th Anniversary Director's Cut edition, but they failed to tell what media formats it was released on, and when. WIKI also discussed the 40th Anniversary DVD/Blu Ray edition from 2009, but I am sure that I did not buy this that late. I got out my magnifying glass and took another look at the copyright notices fine print at the bottom of the back cover. At the end of the 2nd line, "Package artwork, Design & Summary c.1997". That would not have appeared there on releases before 1997. There is a booklet inside dated 2000, for a free DVD by mail, Offer expired 31 Mar 2001, if that is any help.

Bonus footage: original film trailer, radio spots, commentary by Director Steve Binder. 20 page booklet inside. Featured acts: The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, James Brown and the Flames, The Barbarians, Marvin Gaye, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Lesley Gore, Jan and Dean, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Supremes, and The Rolling Stones. Even the backup singers (Darlene Love and the Blossoms) and the dancers became famous. The backing band was The Wrecking Crew directed by Jack Nitzsche.
