kab2112 SUBS 28th Mar 2015		Live Music Diamond Head @ Students Union (1983)	Scan of the setlist added. These were very good live and were able to create a good atmosphere in the smaller venues, Didn't really manage to transfer to records.
kab2112 SUBS 28th Mar 2015		Live Music Booker T And The M.G.'s @ Empire Theatre (1970)	I've asked mods to change the year to 1970. With regard to seeing lots of great acts, I saw many "beat" bands in the 1960's but can't remember the venue of most of them or the year. Similarly in the 1970's I went to loads of shows and didn't buy programmes or keep the tickets - sorry now. I saw Wishbone Ash on every UK tour in the 1970's, also John Miles who was superb live and very underrated. I have to confess that I also gave up going to see the Beatles in Llandudno in 1963 to go on a date (what a plonker)

kab2112 SUBS 24th Mar 2015		Live Music Peter Green And The Splinter Group With Cozy Powell @ North Wales Theatre (1997)	We were right at the front for this and I was absolutely amazed at how good a drummer Cozy Powell actually was. I had seen him before but not close up. Everything this night was orchestrated by Cozy with all the band responding to him. Excellent gig
kab2112 SUBS 23rd Mar 2015		Live Music Def Leppard @ Apollo Theatre (1987)	When attending this gig, we had our car stolen from a nearby car park along with about 20 others (seriously). A load of shopping in it including quite a few records & CDs that four of us had bought during the day in Manchester. - Cops not interested although the police station was full of people like ourselves worried about how we would get back home to our families etc.. A long walk back to North Wales.
